Privacy Policy
SuperQuanti ("we") takes the protection of your personal information seriously. This policy describes what information we collect through superquanti.com, for what purposes, who we share it with, and the rights you have, in accordance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (including the Law 25 amendments).
Person in charge of the protection of personal information
The person in charge of the protection of personal information at SuperQuanti oversees compliance with this policy and the law. You can reach them at: [email protected] (subject: "Personal information").
Information we collect
We only collect the information needed for the purposes described below:
- Contact form: name, email address, message, and — if you choose to provide them — your phone number and company name.
- Newsletter: email address, language preference, and the date and IP address at sign-up (proof of consent).
- Job applications: the information you share in your message and, where applicable, your resume.
- Browsing: with your consent only, audience-measurement data (pages viewed, source, device) through cookies (see "Cookies" below).
We do not collect sensitive personal information and we do not use your information for automated decision-making.
Purposes
Your information is used only to:
- respond to requests sent through the contact form;
- send you our newsletter, if you consented to it — you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email;
- process your job application;
- measure and improve the site's performance, if you consented to analytics cookies;
- comply with our legal obligations.
Consent
Except where the law provides otherwise, we collect your information with your consent, expressed through a clear action (submitting a form, subscribing to the newsletter, accepting cookies). You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us or, for cookies, via the "Manage cookies" button at the bottom of every page.
Cookies
The site uses three categories of cookies:
- Essential: required for the site to work (security, language preference, remembering your consent choice). They do not require consent.
- Analytics: traffic statistics (Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager). Set only if you accept them.
- Advertising: ad campaign measurement and personalization. Set only if you accept them.
Advertising cookies may be used for advertising profiling (associating your browsing with interests in order to show you more relevant ads). In accordance with Law 25, this profiling is off by default and only occurs if you accept the "Advertising" category. You can withdraw that consent at any time via "Manage cookies", which ends any profiling related to our site.
On your first visit, no non-essential cookie is set before you make a choice. You can change your choice at any time via "Manage cookies" in the footer.
Disclosure to third parties and hosting
We never sell your personal information. It may be disclosed to the following service providers, only to the extent necessary for the purposes described:
- DigitalOcean (site hosting);
- Resend (delivery of contact form emails);
- MailerLite (newsletter management);
- Google (analytics and advertising, if you consented).
Some of these providers store data outside Quebec, notably in the United States and the European Union. Before communicating information outside Quebec, we ensure it receives adequate protection as required by law, including through our providers' contractual commitments.
Retention
We keep your information only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, after which it is securely destroyed or anonymized:
- contact form messages: at most 3 years after the last exchange;
- newsletter subscription: until you unsubscribe;
- job applications: at most 2 years after receipt;
- analytics data: per the retention configured in Google Analytics (at most 14 months).
Security
We apply reasonable security measures proportionate to the sensitivity of the information: encrypted communications (HTTPS), access limited to those who need it, authentication on provider accounts, and logging.
Your rights
At any time, you may:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- request its rectification if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
- withdraw your consent to its use or disclosure;
- request its deletion (right to erasure, within the limits set by law);
- request that its dissemination cease, or de-indexing, where applicable.
To exercise these rights, write to [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. If you are unsatisfied with how your request is handled, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
Minors
Our services are aimed at businesses and our site is not directed at minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors under 14; under Law 25, collecting information from a minor under 14 requires the consent of the person having parental authority. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, write to us and we will delete it.
Confidentiality incidents
Any confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious harm will be reported to the Commission d'accès à l'information and to the persons concerned, as required by law, and recorded in our incident register.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The update date appears at the top of this page; in the event of a significant change, a notice will be displayed on the site.
